Today I did my first real photoshoot. And it was AMAZING. I don't know if I can describe it. I felt in control in a way I don't really ever feel outside of a ...mission (battle, really). I handed in my final project (building a portfolio and designing a photoshoot) proposal this morning. I was up most of last night worrying about it but now that it's handed in I feel pretty good about it. I meet with my level instructor tomorrow and next week I make it happen ( Read more... )

I can't believe it is already Thursday. Last week seemed endless but this week is flying by!! My classes are shorter now and I do have company (♥!) so I guess that's it. Hello!! My first week of craziness is done and now, I can breathe ;) It was an AMAZING week. Basically five full 10 hour days but I learned so much!! Photography from the beginning to end. In less than 48 hours I will be on my way to England. My flight leaves 8:25am Saturday (and gets in 8:25pm, yay time zones) but I'm supposed to be at the airport 2-3 hours early for all the paperwork, security etc. (international flight and all). I got my schedule for BAPA. Classes start Monday June 29, but I can arrive as early as Friday evening (the 26th). Classes are in London until Friday July 17, then wrap up in New York for the week after (20-24) and then there's an exhibit starting with a party Thursday July 30 and the photos hang for the whole weekend following.
